August Miller (born 2001) is an American actor, director, producer, and writer. An Academy Award winner and co-founder of the production company FAXLUXLEO, Miller is known for playing intense characters in epic, grand stories, a discerning public image, and his philanthropic work, establishing himself as one of the most compelling storytellers of his generation.
Miller studied film and theatre around the globe, training in New York, London, and California, before launching his career on the stage. He made his mark in small theatrical productions before captivating audiences with his one-man show The Darkness (2026) — a performance widely regarded as the opening statement of an extraordinary career.
He has since gone on to write, direct, produce, and star in over a dozen films, with his screen appearances collectively grossing over one billion dollars at the worldwide box office.
Miller is also the founder of a children's charity dedicated to supporting orphans and at-risk youth — a cause as central to his identity as any role he has ever played.
